Ives Concert Park

Multiple series of performing and visual arts define the Ives Concert Park season, while the natural grounds alone provide a gorgeous and tranquil destination.
Upcoming Performances & Events at Ives Concert Park
As usual, there’s a whole lot of good stuff coming down the pike at Ives Concert Park this summer. Here are a few upcoming highlights!
At 7:30 PM on Sunday, July 15th, the Connecticut Ballet will perform Darrell Grand Moultrie’s Pulse through its Ballet Under the Stars program, presented as part of the Ives Concert Park’s Newtown Savings Bank Fine Arts & Family Series.
A few days later, the Mock Stock Tribute Band Fest will bring iconic performers (via some talented impersonators) to Danbury. On Friday, July 20th, Dean Ford & the Beautiful Ones will honor the late, great, one-and-only Prince in a show aptly titled Purple. Prepare to get funky, in other words! Saturday the 21st, meanwhile, sees a triple-decker sendup of hair metal celebrating AC/DC (with Halfway to Hell), Guns N Roses (with Get Your Guns), and Metallica (with Four Horsemen).
The weekend after, meanwhile, Ives Concert Park puts on the 7th Annual Westside Reggae Festival, with Mykal Rose, Culture, Wayne Wonder, Half Pint, Derrick Barnett, Anthem Band, and Tales of Joy among the performers the afternoon and evening of Saturday, July 28th.
